What is pH?

Tags: Alkalinity, Balance, pH

pH is a scientific abbreviation for potential Hydrogens. They are Hydrogens without their orbiting electrons – hungry for other atom’s electrons. When this type of Hydrogen eats other atom’s electrons, it is called an Acid reaction.

The number of Hydrogens in a drop of water is huge, more than you can imagine.

So the numbers on the pH scale – 1 to 7 (acid) and 7 to 14 (alkaline) are mathematical exponents – squaring and cubing and up the scale in powers of 10. Now you can manage BIG numbers of Hydrogens.

Example: the difference between a pH of 7 and 8 is 1 or 10 times more alkaline. The difference between a pH of 7 and 9 is 2 or 100 times more alkaline.

Therefore, eVamor, with a pH of 9, is 100 times more alkaline than water with a pH of 7?
