ABOUT OUR PH LEVELS:
The “New” Evamor in a newly designed bottle and label is now categorized by the FDA as a Natural Artesian Water. Evamor Natural Artesian Water is bottled at the source in a brand new state of the art bottling plant. The natural artesian source of Evamor can fluctuate between 8.6 and 9.1 over time. Because Evamor follows all Federal, State and Local laws, the lowest pH measurement is stated on the label. Be assured that the “New” Evamor is the finest alkaline water available.
I TESTED EVAMOR AND THE PH IS NOT WHAT YOU SAY IT IS
Evamor Alkaline Water has a low ionic strength so normal pH test paper or strips will not work on Evamor water. Also, urine test strips will not work as well since the water will not react properly with the paper (there is no buffer). pH testing strips and papers are very specific. For best accuracy, you should use a calibrated pH meter. If you choose to use pH test strips, you should use low ionic strength pH paper or test strips such as ones offered from Micro Essential Labs. (see link for strips http://ow.ly/9bBy8) The water drawn from our aquifer for finished product is pH tested hourly during production and we have 3 in-line pH meters continuously monitoring the pH. ABOUT THE SOURCE:
Some waters are drawn from surface springs, rivers or even glaciers exposed to the atmosphere, but Evamor goes deeper. Starting out thousands of years ago as rain and snow, our water is filtered through thousands of miles of sediment and stone to end up in our protected artesian aquifer, half a mile under ground. The limestone mineral deposits in the aquifer over time and pressure have infused the water with its naturally high alkaline properties.
Evamor is water, pure and simple, with no added minerals and a clean, refreshing taste. However, it’s just as important to note what isn’t in Evamor. Tritium (radiation), surface pollutants and even prescription drugs can dirty ordinary waters regardless of how they’re filtered. But Evamor is drawn from an ancient source sealed off by tons of impenetrable rock long before pollution was a problem, making Evamor naturally purer water from a naturally purer time.
